Help
In the unlikely event that you will experience any
minor mechanical or operational problems with your vehicle, assistance
can be readily provided through any one of our appointed service
agents throughout New Zealand.
In addition to this, Maui offers a client backup telephone service,
should you require the assistance of a staff member
Touring Information
To complement the suggestions and recommendations
given by our professional staff when collecting your vehicle, you
will be provided with comprehensive maps and camping ground information
for both North and South Islands.
Extensive information about major tourist attractions is available
InterIslander Ferry
Crossings
It is permitted for Maui motorhomes and rental cars
to be taken on the InterIslander ferry, between North and South
Islands of New Zealand.
Maui is happy to assist with reservations and recommends advance
bookings between the period of November to February
Queenstown
A shuttle service is available between the Airport
and the depot will meet all pre-booked clients.
For this reason we require flight arrival times to ensure that the
shuttle is there to pick clients up
For motorhome
collection only, passengers may take a shuttle from city or airport
hotels and will be reimbursed on presentation of receipt at our
Maui depot.
For Auckland clients only, picking up motorhome, take the Airbus
from your major city hotel to the depot free of charge
Depot Locations and
Facilities
Premises in Auckland and Christchurch have free
storage facilities for suitcases and luggage.
Should you wish to carry your luggage with you, collapsible soft
baggage is recommended as it is easily stored in the motorhome.
Comfortable couches, TV/video, toilets, showers and towels are available
in both Christchurch and Auckland depots allowing you to freshen
up and relax before your travels
Operating hours
for Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown are 07.00 - 18.00 hours,
7 days a week.
Complimentary Transfer
Complimentary transfers to and from Auckland,
Christchurch and Queenstown Airports on the Maui shuttle are available
during operating hours on the day of uplifting your vehicle and
the day of terminating your hire, courtesy of Maui
Auckland
Maui provides a regular courtesy shuttle-bus service
which operates on a half-hourly circuit between Maui, Auckland Airport
property and the domestic / international terminals of Auckland's
Jean Batten Airport - 5km drive
Christchurch
On arrival, please proceed to the free phone
information boards situated by the baggage collection point in the
International Airport.
Using phone number 16 contact Maui Rentals and a courtesy bus will
be despatched to collect you from the main airport arrivals entrance.
Please allow approximately 10 minutes for this vehicle to arrive
