HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY SYSTEM LAST?
Your vehicle will be fully charged when you start your journey and should last 12 - 20 hours depending on use. Star RVís ancillary battery system powers internal appliances such as the fridge, lights and water pump.
Batteries can be recharged by connecting to mains power at a powered campsite or by driving. Simply idling the engine will not recharge the battery. When you are connected to a powered site all the appliances and powered equipment will run of this power source rather than the battery.
The television, microwave, rear air-conditioning and power points will only run on mains power. The 12 Volt main switch must be in the 'on' position for it to work. All vehicles can be connected to 240 Volt mains power via the supplied 15 Amp extension lead with large earth pin. All approved caravan park circuits are 15 Amp.
