The castle of Longueville is situated between the villages of Saint-Julien and Saint-Lambert. It was once called " La Bâtisse ", " La Bastide " or " La Baderne ".
   
The last Pichon-Longueville sold his property in1933 to the Bouteiller family. For more than fifty years, the property was administered by Jean Bouteiller, then by his son Bertrand.
   In 1987, the family society, at that time divided into forteen owners, was acquired by Axa-Millésimes. The following year, the new owners started an important renovation program of the castle and of the technical installations.

Moulis is the oldest vineyard area in the Medoc. The 68 hectares of Chateau Maucaillou are part of a vineyard area based on quaternary alluvial soil. This gravel helps to ensure their complete ripeness, and hence the perfection of the wine. The vineyard of Château Maucaillou receives the most careful, constant attention, and was awarded a GOLD MEDAL by the "Comice Agricole du Médoc" as the best- kept vineyard.

- Night at the CAMIAC Castle not far from BORDEAUX.

Built in 1834 with a contemporary interior. An ideal stop-over and a wonderful starting point for visiting the region and its most famous wine Châteaux : Margaux, Mouton Rotschild, Ausone. Oenologie lessons, horse riding, VTT and VIP service can be organised.
